History of Practice Management Systems, LLC
Since its founding in 1962, Practice Management Systems has had its base in the medical and health care community of the mid-Peninsula. The company provides systems for billing/computerization. Practice Management was initially a wholly-owned subsidiary of the San Mateo Medical Clinic, a 35 physician multi-specialty medical clinic in San Mateo. Current owner/management are professionals committed to delivering the highest quality, lowest cost billing solution and technology services available to the Medical Practice Community.
Early on, Practice Management determined that its principal tenet would be service, via the best facilities and staff professionals. The support/training staff has years of billing experience in physicians' offices. The hardware/systems staff has been trained for many years in the medical practice environment. Staff skills are constantly updated and enhanced through training and development programs by the California Medical Association.
